Andrew Janneke to Retire

After 40 years at Olsen Thielen, Andy Janneke is transitioning his responsibilities and will be retiring in December 2019. Andy began his career at Olsen Thielen in December 1979 as an audit intern and advanced in the Audit Department, becoming a Principal in 1998. In 2006, he was appointed as the firm’s first Chief Operating Officer and has continued in that position since. In an ironic but totally unplanned twist, Andy’s first day as an intern at Olsen Thielen was December 19, 1979, and he will be retiring on December 19, 2019.

Andy and his wife, Muriel, plan to enjoy traveling, exploring lakes and snowmobile trails, continuing with various community volunteering, and spending more time with family and friends.

The contributions Andy has made over the past 40 years to Olsen Thielen are immeasurable. He was an outstanding accountant/auditor who was able to turn his talents inward to help implement systems, structure, and accountability as the firm continues to grow. While we will certainly miss Andy on a day-to-day basis, we are happy to be able to celebrate with him as he transitions to life in retirement.
